Quaker Valley Food to Families
Quaker Valley Food to Families is a Sewickley Valley YMCA program dedicated to community well-being by providing food boxes to individuals and families in need. Our mission is to remove barriers to accessing healthy and nutritious foods, making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.
Quaker Valley Food to Families extends beyond delivering food; it’s about ensuring families in the district receive the nourishment they need. Over the years, Quaker Valley Food to Families has consistently provided tens of thousands of pounds of food to local families. This has made a significant and lasting impact on supporting community well-being.
HEALTHY AND NUTRITIOUS FOOD DELIVERY
Quaker Valley Food to Families understands the unique needs of our cherished community. Our dedicated team of Faith in Action volunteers personally and thoughtfully pack food boxes with fresh dairy, fruit, vegetables, meat, and pantry staples. Faith in Action volunteers then deliver these boxes directly to homes in the Quaker Valley school district, eliminating barriers to accessing food.
SUPPORTED BY YOUR COMMUNITY
Quaker Valley Food to Families is funded solely by donations and supported by volunteers, organizations, foundations, and churches. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to local businesses and community donors whose support makes this vital work possible.
