Just Ahead: Bright Futures

At the YMCA, we believe in preparing teens for a bright future. That’s why we’re excited to offer impactful programs designed to enhance leadership skills, build civic awareness, and guide teens toward future success. Whether your teen is interested in government and civic engagement or career and leadership development, these programs empower teens to confidently step into the world and make a positive impact in their communities.

YOUTH AND GOVERNMENT

We’re shaping tomorrow’s leaders today! Teens ages 13 to 18 can boost their civic knowledge while enhancing critical thinking, teamwork, and self-confidence. This immersive experience gives teens the chance to serve as legislators, judges, attorneys, lobbyists, and media members. Participants explore government complexities and their roles as active citizens.

FUTURE LEADERS

Designed for grades 9-12, this FREE program helps teens learn about college programs, career choices, leadership, and professionalism.
