Join our co-ed competitive swim team at the YMCA, open to both youth and teen YMCA members, where we emphasize teamwork, fun, character development, and sportsmanship. Our supervised practices are personalized for each swimmer’s level, enhancing stroke technique, building endurance, and incorporating interval training. Practices are organized by age groups to foster peer connections, with training groups further tailored to individual abilities.
Practices are thoughtfully designed to help each swimmer meet their unique goals while enjoying team camaraderie. Technique is prioritized, recognizing that mastering technique leads to improved speed. We aim to instill a lifelong passion for swimming while instilling the YMCA’s core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
