2024 Pumpkin Swim at the YMCA: Dive Into the Harvest Fun!
Join us for the much-loved annual event, the YMCA Great Pumpkin Swim! Imagine a pool filled with floating pumpkins—yes, pumpkins float! Kids can jump in, swim around, and pick their favorite pumpkin right from the water. Afterward, let your little ones unleash their creativity by painting their chosen pumpkins and enjoying light refreshments.

The Great Pumpkin Swim
This harvest season pumpkins will float!
For a splashing good time, please note:
- Children ages 8 years and younger must be accompanied in the water by an adult.
- All non-swimmers must be accompanied in the water by an adult.
- Bring a paint shirt—we use non-washable acrylic paint so the designs stick to the pumpkins.
- Register only children who are participating in the event.
- Pumpkins are provided for participants only—thanks for understanding!
Schedule of Festivities
12 pm to 1 pm:Â Take a swim and pick your pumpkin from 12 pm to 1 pm in our Large Pool.
1 pm to 2 pm:Â Paint your pumpkin and enjoy light refreshments. Pumpkins will be painted outside under the Pavilion, weather permitting.
