Sewickley Valley YMCA Summer Camp empowers teens to lead, grow, and explore. Whether developing leadership skills in the Counselor in Training (CIT) program or embarking on exciting Teen Adventure field trips, campers gain confidence, teamwork experience, and unforgettable memories through hands-on experiences, group activities, an opportunities to lead.

Session Rates
Each teen camp session runs for two weeks, with pricing based on YMCA membership. Discounts and member rates must be applied at registration and cannot be added retroactively. Deposits are non-refundable. See the Youth and Teen Summer Camp Program Guide for full enrollment and payment details.

Counselor in Training (CIT) 13-16yrs
About Counselor in Training (CIT) Camp
For teens ready to develop leadership skills, the CIT program offers hands-on experience assisting with camp activities like games, crafts, and special events. All new participants start as Junior CITs, helping with activities and events, with the opportunity for promotion based on age, experience, and maturity. Returning CITs advance to Senior CITs, taking on greater responsibility by leading and planning activities, preparing for future roles like Junior Counselor. This program fosters growth, responsibility, and teamwork, empowering teens to become future leaders.

About Teen Adventure Camp
Each session is packed with exploration! Teens embark on four thrilling field trips, with past destinations including wave pools, museums, and mini-golf (cost included in the registration fee). Campers also enjoy a variety of activities including sports, hikes, themed events, and games. Every day offers new adventures, opportunities to connect, and unforgettable experiences!
